Oktoberfest Help Needed
Oktoberfest help needed, earlier than usual.
We need two dependable volunteers to help with specific Oktoberfest tasks.
Volunteer #1: Beer Tent Captain
We need someone who has worked in the beer tents previously and is available all day for Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 14th. We need someone who can tap kegs and coordinate between the two beer tents to make sure there are enough volunteers in each tent. You won't have to find the volunteers, just shuffle volunteers between tents if needed. It would also be good if you can teach other volunteers how to tap the kegs. You wouldn't have to do any prep work before Oktoberfest, this is all about making sure things run smoothly on October 14th.
Volunteer #2: Neighborhood tent coordinator
Most of the work here takes place before Oktoberfest and early on Saturday, October 14th. You would need to collect materials for the neighborhood booth (ie walking tour brochures, art by neighborhood residents, Germantown posters, etc) and then set them up in the booth on October 14th. I'll help you find people to volunteer for the booth.
If you'd like to volunteer for either of these tasks (or if you have questions about them), contact Kim Unertl.
