VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HOMEWORK HELP AT THE NORTH BRANCH OF THE LIBRARY

The Nashville public library offers homework helpers at several branches, including the North Branch. All you need to be a homework helper is knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and internet research skills. Because you'd be working with kids the library needs to do a background check and they also ask that you commit to volunteer for at least 50 hours in a year to recoup the background check costs. The homework helper hours at North Branch are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 pm. You don't need to be there every week - if you could come just twice a month you could really help.
