Jazz Workshop Schedule

Hey Everyone,
Just giving you the student performance schedule coming up this week.
MONDAY- JULY 18TH
8:00pm- Monday night Rhythm Section class
Johnny Mercer Vocal Literature class
TUESDAY-JULY 19TH
6:00pm- Johnny Mercer Vocal Literature class
7:00pm- Vocal Performance 1 class
8:00pm- Charles Mingus Ensemble
This should be an exciting night, so bring your dinner and come hang out!
WEDNESDAY- JULY 2OTH
6:00pm- Wednesday night Ensemble class
Johnny Mercer Vocal Literature class
8:00pm- Cuban Music Ensemble featuring 5 horns and 2 vocalists
Again...... bring your dinner, another nite not to miss!
THURSDAY- JULY 21ST
6:00pm- Johnny Mercer Vocal Literature class
As you can see we have a lot of the Vocal literature classes, in case you
were wondering, these are different vocalists every night. They are not the
same. ALL STUDENT PERFORMANCES ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

On Friday- July 22nd will be our next Snap on 2 and 4 with
Sandra and Bruce Dudley
featuring:
Roger Spencer on bass
Chester Thompson on drums
Denis Solee on sax
Don't miss this one! BYOB
Admission is $10.00/ $5.00 for students with I.D's
Advance purchase highly recomended. Call Monday, July 18th to purchase your
tickets, especially if you want a table!!!!


Just a quick reminder........ don't forgot about the Charles Dungey
Jazz on Jefferson scholarship concert tomorrow, July 17th. This starts at
4:30pm at the Essence Room located at 1511 Jefferson Street. All donations
will go to the NJW Charles Dungey Memorial Scholarship Fund.
A $10.00 donation will be taken at the door.
Featured performers will be
Beegie Adair, Rasaan Barber, John Birdsong, Abby Burke, Sandra and Bruce
Dudley, Jeff Carr, Wayne Dowell, Jeff Coffin, Lori Mechem, Mo Denham, Roger
Spencer, Jerry Navarro, Liz Johnson, Rick Reed, Denis Solee, Annie Sellick,
Chester Thompson, Rock Williams and many more.
There will be a silent auction with some wonderful items available.
