Development Committee Zoning Forum this Weekend

Germantown Meeting Notice


The HGN Development Committee was established to investigate and
analyze the current zoning and design standards for our neighborhood.
The Committee needs your input on past development and standards that
should apply to future development.

Join us for a general discussion regarding the current density, height,
parking, set-back, design, greenspace requirements as well as other
zoning devices such as Historic Zoning, Conservation Zoning, Urban
Design Overlays or possible amendments to the Phillips-Jackson
Redevelopment District Design Guidelines.

Date:June 17, 2006
Time:10:00 a.m.
Place:Fellowship Hall
Monroe Street United Methodist Church
Monroe & 7th Avenue North

The Committee will use the information and suggestions from this
meeting to develop recommendations, if any, to the Board of Directors
for possible changes in the current development standards. This could
affect the way Germantown grows and looks in the future.

GERMANTOWN’S FUTURE GROWTH


The Development Committee Handbook with copies of all
relevant zoning and development materials is available for download.

The Committee will also provide an update on the current status of the
neighborhood’s purchase of Fire Engine Co. No. 1 on 3rd Avenue North.
