Summer Grill Fest

Take a bite out of summer at the Nashville Farmers'
Market 'Grill Fest' on June 17th & 18th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sample
divine grilled veggies, listen to great local music and support local
agriculture and artisans.

Hot weather barbeque usually means charred chicken and crispy
hot dogs, but at the Farmers' Market is means deliciously marinated
fresh and local vegetables. Come sample the array of local vegetables
available from local farms. Just some of the great produce and foods
you'll find are heirloom cabbages, fresh goat cheeses, organic lettuce,
English peas, heirloom tomatoes, summer squash, eggplant and much more.

Help the Farmers' Market celebrate local agriculture in our 'Producer
Only' section at the market with the bounty of the summer harvest. The
new section is at the exterior front of the Interior Market Hall and
will feature the best of local growers and artisan food producers.
Select from farm fresh veggies, herbs, hand-made pastas, artisan cheeses
and fresh flowers every weekend thru October.
Catch great music from noon to 2 p.m. inside the Market Hall as well.
Saturday features John England and the Western Swingers and spend Sunday
lunch with Les Kerr and the Bayou Band.
